Feature Articles: GPO published seven feature articles from April 1 to June 30. These included articles showcasing Biscayne National Park, the Antiquities Act of 1906, and Helen Keller Day; and features commemorating the 55th Anniversary of Earth Day, May’s American Wetland Month, Armed Forces Day, Juneteenth, and Memorial Day; and an update for the March 2025 Release Notes.
Display of File Size Information: To assist users in understanding when they are going to click on a large file that may take some time to download, the team implemented enhancements to the display of format buttons. For this release, the file size for PDF and other file formats is now visible when you hover over the buttons on the search results and select browse pages. As the overarching migration to a more up-to-date web application framework continues, users will see this display on all pages next to format buttons, including details pages and additional browse and other landing pages.
In the next release, additional improvements will focus on providing users with alerts when a file is being downloaded including a progress indicator.

Statute Compilations Custom Search Widget: The Statute Compilations collection is an invaluable resource in GovInfo and serves as an essential research tool for legal professionals and researchers. The Office of the Legislative Counsel of the U.S. House of Representatives maintains this corpus, which is necessary for legislative drafting and ensuring consistent application of the law. Statute Compilations are public laws that either do not appear in the U.S. Code or have been classified as a title of the U.S. Code that has not been enacted into positive law. Each Statute Compilation incorporates the amendments made to the underlying statute since it was initially enacted.
The ability to search Statute Compilations by title is critical for users of this content. For this release, the GovInfo team worked on a customized search widget that is now displayed on the Statute Compilations browse page. The goal is to provide an easy way to target searches over the title field.Learn more about the Statute Compilations collection and title searching tips.

Improved Access to Amendments in the Congressional Record (2021-prior): To improve access to and increase transparency for the content available on GovInfo, this release featured development to enhance the findability of House and Senate amendment information within the Congressional Record. As of this release, daily issues of the Congressional Record prior to 2021 will have new sub-granules that make it easier to access each amendment. This change will take effect over time, and 2021-forward was implemented in a prior release.

Migration to New Web Application Framework Continues: For this release, the team migrated the Congressional Record (Bound Edition), History of Bills, House Rules and Manual, House Journal, Senate Manual List of Sections Affected, and Statute Compilations collection browse pages to a more supported and versatile web application framework.
