Mr. Beyer (for himself, Mr. Butterfield, Ms. Norton, Mr. Raskin, Mr. Connolly, Mr. Ted Lieu of California, Mr. Brown of Maryland, and Ms. Wexton) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on the Judiciary, and in addition to the Committee on Armed Services, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned
To require Federal law enforcement officers, including contract employees, and members of the armed forces engaged in crowd control, riot control, or arrest or detainment of individuals engaged in civil disobedience, demonstrations, protests, or riots to visibly display identifying information.
