House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology

The House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology has jurisdiction over research and development related to the following fields: energy (including federally owned/operated nonmilitary energy laboratories), astronautics, civil aviation, environment, and marine. Additionally, the Committee has jurisdiction over the commercial application of energy technology, the National Institute of Standards and Technology, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, the National Space Council, the National Science Foundation, National Weather Service, outer space exploration, science scholarship, and scientific research and development projects .
