House Committee on Energy and Commerce

The House Committee on Energy and Commerce has jurisdiction over a wide range of issues, including biomedical research, consumer protection, health and health facilities, interstate and foreign commerce, national energy policy, public health, telecommunications, and travel. Additionally, it has oversight over the Departments of Energy, Health and Human Services, Commerce, and Transportation, as well as the Environmental Protection Agency, the Federal Trade Commission, the Food and Drug Administration, and the Federal Communications Commission.
