Committee on House Administration

The Committee on House Administration has jurisdiction over appropriations for committee and administrative office salaries and expenses (including auditing those expenses), employment of House personnel, the Library of Congress, works of art for the Capitol, the Botanic Garden, the Smithsonian Institution, the Franking Commission, Printing and correction of the Congressional Record, House Accounts, assignment of office space, disposition of useless executive papers, federal elections, services to the House, Member travel, reporting and use of campaign funds, and compensation of compensation, retirement, and other benefits of House employees.
