Bowser and Interim Chief of Police Jeffery W. Carroll of the Metropolitan Police Department of the District of Columbia; Secretary of State Marco A. Rubio; Secretary of War Peter B. Hegseth; Weijia Jiang, senior White House correspondent for CBS News, in her capacity as president of the White House Correspondents' Association; New Kensington, PA, resident David Dutch, and Moon Township, PA, resident James Copenhaver, who were injured in the assassination attempt on former President Trump in Butler, PA, on July 13, 2024; and Ryan W. Routh, who was convicted for the attempted assassination of former President Donald J. Trump and other Federal charges at the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach, Florida, on September 15, 2024. Director Patel referred to Darren B Cox, Assistant Director in Charge, Federal Bureau of Investigation Washington field office. The transcript was released by the Office of Communications on April 26.
