Vallely, senior adviser for mainland Southeast Asia, Kennedy School's Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation at Harvard University; Special Presidential Envoy for Climate John F. Kerry; and Marie Heaney, wife of Irish poet Seamus Heaney. President Thuong and the moderator spoke in Vietnamese, and their remarks were translated by an interpreter.
