Timothy Szymanski, USN, assistant commanding general, Joint Special Operations Command; Rear Adm. Brian L. Losey, USN, commander, Naval Special Warfare Command; Dilip Joseph, medical director, Morning Star Development, who was kidnaped in eastern Kabul Province, Afghanistan, on December 5, 2012, his wife Cilicia, and their children Asha, Jaron, Tobiah, and Eshaan. The transcript released by the Office of the Press Secretary also included the reading of the citation.
