The Emergency Communications Preparedness Center (ECPC) was established by 6 United States Code (U.S.C.) § 576 to improve interoperable communications coordination among federal agencies. The ECPC is comprised of 14 federal departments and agencies who meet regularly to address gaps in federal emergency responders’ abilities to communicate across jurisdictions and functions.
