Action: Mr. Khanna (for himself, Ms. Jayapal, Mr. Blumenauer, Ms. Bonamici, Mr. DeFazio, Mr. García of Illinois, Mr. Grijalva, Ms. Lee of California, Ms. Ocasio-Cortez, Ms. Omar, Mr. Pocan, Ms. Pressley, Mr. Raskin, Ms. Schakowsky, Mr. Smith of Washington, and Mrs. Watson Coleman) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Energy and Commerce, and in addition to the Committees on Ways and Means, Oversight and Reform, Armed Services, and Education and Labor, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned

Full Title: To amend title I of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act to authorize the establishment of, and provide support for, State-based universal health care systems that provide comprehensive health benefits to State residents, and for other purposes.
