H.R. 3617 (IH) - Surface Transportation Extension Act of 2009

Action: Mr. Oberstar (for himself, Mr. Rangel, Mr. DeFazio, Mr. Lewis of Georgia, and Mr. Neal of Massachusetts) introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, and in addition to the Committees on Ways and Means, Natural Resources, and Science and Technology, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned

Full Title: To provide an extension of Federal-aid highway, highway safety, motor carrier safety, transit, and other programs funded out of the Highway Trust Fund pending enactment of a multiyear law reauthorizing such programs.
