Mr. Hastings of Florida introduced the following bill; which was referred to the Committee on Transportation and Infrastructure, and in addition to the Committee on Financial Services and Energy and Commerce, for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee concerned
To authorize the Secretary of Transportation to make grants to travel agencies, car rental companies, and other business concerns in the ancillary airline industry to provide compensation for losses incurred as a result of the terrorist attacks on the United States that occurred on September 11, 2001.
