The United States provides funding for several independent international commissions, including the International Boundary and Water Commission, which resolves water and boundary issues along the U.S.-Mexican border. In response to congressional concerns about the lack of visibility and openness of these commissions' programs and operations, this report provides information on the U.S. Section of the International Boundary and Water Commission.
