Export license amendment application; opportunity to provide comment, request a hearing, and petition for leave to intervene.
The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) received and is considering an application (XW010/04) from EnergySolutions Services, Inc. (ESSI) to amend and renew an existing license authorizing the export of radioactive waste to Canada. The NRC is providing notice of the opportunity to submit written comments, request a hearing, or a petition for leave to intervene on ESSI's application.
Submit comments by October 2, 2020. Comments received after this date will be considered if it is practical to do so, but the Commission is able to ensure consideration only for comments received before this date. A request for a hearing or a petition for leave to intervene must be filed by October 2, 2020.
