The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is approving, under the Clean Air Act (CAA), Ohio's plan for attaining the 1-hour sulfur dioxide (SO<INF>2</INF>) primary national ambient air quality standard (NAAQS) in the Lake County SO<INF>2</INF> nonattainment area. EPA proposed to approve Ohio's Lake County plan as a revision to Ohio's SO<INF>2</INF> State Implementation Plan (SIP) on August 21, 2018. EPA received public comments on the proposed rulemaking and is providing responses to the comments below.
