    <abstract>The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is revising its regulations related to the use of methods for certifying compliance and reporting ratings in accordance with energy conservation standards as they apply to walk-in coolers and walk-in freezers. These revisions also include a number of clarifications to the relevant test procedure that will serve as the basis for any applicable alternative efficiency determination method that may be used to rate certain walk-in cooler and walk-in freezer components.</abstract>
