This interim rule is effective April 13, 2009, except Sec. Sec. 1300.04, 1301.19, and 1304.40, which are effective April 6, 2009. Section 1300.04(i) (the definition of "practice of telemedicine") has an implementation date of January 15, 2010, unless such date is superseded by future regulatory actions as explained in the SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION section.
