The Defense Logistics Agency proposes to alter a system of records notice in its inventory of record systems subject to the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended. The alteration to S322.10 DMDC, Defense Manpower Data Center Data Base consists of expanding the routine use to the Social Security Administration to permit disclosure of current earnings data on individuals who have left military service or DoD civil employment for purposes of allowing for comparisons to be made of individuals in like occupational series grades, or geographic regions. This information will also be used to support analytical studies of personnel stability, promotability, and long-term earnings.
