The Coast Guard proposes to establish temporary regulations in the Port of Baltimore, Maryland for OPSAIL 2000 activities. This action is necessary to provide for the safety of life on navigable waters before, during, and after OPSAIL 2000 events. This action will restrict vessel traffic in portions of the Inner Harbor, the Northwest Harbor, the Patapsco River, and the Chesapeake Bay.

Notice of proposed rulemaking.
The Coast Guard proposes to establish temporary regulations in the Port of Baltimore, Maryland for OPSAIL 2000 activities. This action is necessary to provide for the safety of life on navigable waters before, during, and after OPSAIL 2000 events. This action will restrict vessel traffic in portions of the Inner Harbor, the Northwest Harbor, the Patapsco River, and the Chesapeake Bay.
Comments and related material must reach the Coast Guard on or before May 12, 2000.
