Supplementary notice of proposed rulemaking.
The U.S. Census Bureau (Census Bureau) proposes amending the Foreign Trade Statistics Regulations (FTSR), 15 CFR part 30, to clarify the responsibilities of exporters and forwarding agents in completing the Shipper's Export Declaration (SED) and to clarify provisions for authorizing forwarding agents to prepare and file an SED or file the export information electronically using the Automated Export System (AES) on behalf of a principal party in interest.
Written comments must be submitted on or before December 3, 1999.
