The new provisions of the Medicare statute, set forth as Part C of title XVIII of the Social Security Act, address a wide range of areas, including eligibility and enrollment, benefits and beneficiary protections, quality assurance, participating providers, payments to M+C organizations, premiums, appeals and grievances, and contracting rules.
