This document revises the delegations of authority from the Secretary of Agriculture and general officers of the Department by delegating to the Under Secretary for Farm and Foreign Agricultural Services, the Administrator, Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS), the Assistant Secretary for Marketing and Regulatory Programs, and the Administrator, Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), the authority to administer various programs contained in the Federal Agriculture Improvement and Reform Act of 1996, Pub. L. No. 104-127. It also reserves to the Secretary the authority to appoint members of research and promotion boards.
