To designate the facility of the United States Postal Service located at 
201 North 3rd Street in Smithfield, North Carolina, as the ``Ava Gardner 
         Post Office''. <<NOTE: Mar. 20, 2006 -  [H.R. 3439]>> 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. DESIGNATION.

    The facility of the United States Postal Service located at 201 
North 3rd Street in Smithfield, North Carolina, shall be known and 
designated as the ``Ava Gardner Post Office''.

SEC. 2. REFERENCES.

    Any reference in a law, map, regulation, document, paper, or other 
record of the United States to the facility referred to in section 1 
shall be deemed to be a reference to the ``Ava Gardner Post Office''.

    Approved March 20, 2006.
