                                 An Act


 
To extend the periods of authorization for the Secretary of the Interior 
     to implement capital construction projects associated with the 
endangered fish recovery implementation programs for the Upper Colorado 
   and San Juan River Basins. <<NOTE: Dec. 19, 2002 -  [H.R. 5099]>> 

    Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the 
United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. AMENDMENTS TO EXISTING PROVISIONS.

    Public Law 106-392 (114 Stat. 1602) is amended as follows:
            (1) Section <<NOTE: 114 Stat. 1602.>>  2(1) is amended by 
        inserting ``and extended by the Extension of the Cooperative 
        Agreement dated December 6, 2001,'' after ``September 29, 
        1987,''.
            (2) <<NOTE: 114 Stat. 1603.>>  Section 3(a)(2) is amended by 
        striking ``fiscal year 2005'' and inserting ``fiscal year 
        2008''.
            (3) Section 3(a)(3) is amended by striking ``fiscal year 
        2007'' and inserting ``fiscal year 2008''.
            (4) Section 3(b) is amended--
                    (A) in paragraph (1) by striking ``fiscal year 
                2005'' and inserting ``fiscal year 2008''; and
                    (B) in paragraph (2) by striking ``fiscal year 
                2007'' and inserting ``fiscal year 2008''.
            (5) Section 3(c)(1) is amended by striking ``with'' and 
        inserting ``within''.
