To reauthorize the Iran Sanctions Act of 1996. <>

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the
United States of America in Congress assembled, <>
SECTION 1. <> SHORT TITLE.

This Act may be cited as the ``Iran Sanctions Extension Act''.
SEC. 2. REAUTHORIZATION OF IRAN SANCTIONS ACT OF 1996.

Section 13(b) of the Iran Sanctions Act of 1996 (Public Law 104-172;
50 U.S.C. 1701 note) is amended by striking ``December 31, 2016'' and
inserting ``December 31, 2026''.


[Note by the Office of the Federal Register: The foregoing Act, having
been presented to the President of the United States on Friday, December
2, 2016, and not having been returned by him to the House of Congress in
which it originated within the time prescribed by the Constitution of
the United States, has become law without his signature on December 15,
2016.]
