Statement on the Death of Byron R. White
April 15, 2002

    Laura and I are saddened by the news of the passing of Justice Byron 
White. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends. Justice 
White was a distinguished jurist who served his country with honor and 
dedication. He will be missed.
