Nomination for the Office of Management and Budget
May 11, 1994

    The President today announced his intent to nominate John A. 
Koskinen as Deputy Director for Management of the Office of Management 
and Budget (OMB).
    ``John Koskinen has just the right qualifications for this job,'' 
the President said. ``He has extensive management experience in both the 
private and public sector. Improving the management of the Federal 
Government is a top priority of this administration, and I expect John 
to be a great point man for that effort.''
