Nomination for Army, Navy, and Air Force Assistant Secretaries
December 10, 1993

    The President today announced his intention to nominate Deborah P. 
Christie to be Assistant Secretary of the Navy for Financial Management; 
Rodney A. Coleman to be Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for 
Manpower, Reserve Affairs, Installations, and Environment; and Helen T. 
McCoy to be Assistant Secretary of the Army for Financial Management.
    ``Secretary Aspin is putting together strong management teams in 
every branch of the service,'' said the President. ``These three 
nominees are prime examples of that effort.''
