Nomination for an Associate Director of the United States Information 
Agency
October 11, 1993

    The President today announced his intention to nominate former City 
of Alexandria, VA, official Henry Howard, Jr., to be Associate Director 
for Management for the U.S. Information Agency.
    ``Henry Howard's expertise in planning and development is great and 
will serve him well at USIA. Our administration is fortunate to have 
him,'' the President said.
