Recommendations of the United Nations Secretary-General
January 19, 1993

Dear Mr. Speaker:  (Dear Mr. President:)
    Consistent with section 1341 of the National Defense Authorization 
Act for Fiscal Year 1993 (Public Law 102-484), I hereby transmit my 
report on the proposals of the Secretary General of the United Nations 
contained in his report to the Security Council entitled ``Preventive 
Diplomacy, Peacemaking and Peacekeeping'', dated June 19, 1992.
