Baker's Mother April 26, 1991 The President called Secretary Baker this morning to express his condolences on the death of his mother. The President and Mrs. Bush share in the Secretary's loss and are deeply saddened. The Secretary informed the President of his plans to return immediately to Houston. The President said: ``Barbara and I have known Mrs. Baker for many years. She was indeed one of God's special people.''
