SHORT TITLE.  This Act may be cited as the “Airport and Airway Extension Act of 2024, Part II”.

IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM; DISCRETIONARY FUND.</heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="yd234604e-e80a-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/118/60/tI/s101/a" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Authorization of Appropriations</inline>.—</heading><content><ref href="/us/usc/t49/s48103/a/7">Section 48103(a)(7) of title 49, United States Code</ref>, shall be applied by substituting “$2,105,191,256 for the period beginning October 1, 2023, and ending on May 17, 2024.” for “$2,041,120,218 for the period beginning October 1, 2023, and ending on May 10, 2024.”.</content></subsection> <subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="yd234604f-e80a-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/118/60/tI/s101/b" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">(b) pursuant to subsection (a) may be obligated at any time through September 30, 2024, and shall remain available until expended.</content></subsection> <subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="d3530e491" identifier="/us/pl/118/60/tII/s202" style="-uslm-lc:I658143"><num class="fontsize12" value="202">SEC. 202. </num><heading>EXTENSION OF TAXES FUNDING AIRPORT AND AIRWAY TRUST FUND.</heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="yd23597ee-e80a-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/118/60/tII/s202/a" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><content>Sections 4043(d), 4081(d)(2)(B), 4261(j), 4261(k)(1)(A)(ii), and 4271(d)(1)(A)(ii) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 shall be applied by substituting “May 17, 2024” for “May 10, 2024”.</content></subsection> <subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="yd23597ef-e80a-11f0-a1e4-69761a48a15a" identifier="/us/pl/118/60/tII/s202/b" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">(b) </num><content>Section 4083(b) of such Code shall be applied by substituting “May 18, 2024” for “May 11,
