<section id="d31808e90" identifier="/us/pl/118/271/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x23565feb-e80c-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180"><ref href="/us/usc/t38/s101">38 USC 101 note</ref>.</p></sidenote><heading>SHORT TITLE.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle role="act">Keeping Military Families Together Act of 2024</shortTitle>”.</content></section>
<section id="d31808e105" identifier="/us/pl/118/271/s2" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading>EXTENSION OF ENTITLEMENT TO MEMORIAL HEADSTONES AND MARKERS FOR COMMEMORATION OF VETERANS AND CERTAIN INDIVIDUALS.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  <ref href="/us/usc/t38/s2306/b/2">Section 2306(b)(2) of title 38, United States Code</ref>, <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction> by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>September 30, 2025</quotedText>” both places it appears and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>September 30, 2032</quotedText>”.</content></section>
<section id="d31808e124" identifier="/us/pl/118/271/s3" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="3">SEC. 3. </num><heading>EXTENSION OF AUTHORITY TO BURY REMAINS OF CERTAIN SPOUSES AND CHILDREN IN NATIONAL CEMETERIES.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  <ref href="/us/usc/t38/s2402/a/5">Section 2402(a)(5) of title 38, United States Code</ref>, <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction> by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>September 30, 2025</quotedText>” and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>September 30, 2032</quotedText>”.</content></section>
