<enactingFormula style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><i>  Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa­tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,</i></enactingFormula><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x8125f611-e80e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180">Jamul Indian Village Land Transfer Act.</p></sidenote>
<section id="d37019e88" identifier="/us/pl/118/199/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>SHORT TITLE.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle role="act">Jamul Indian Village Land Transfer Act</shortTitle>”.</content></section>
<section id="d37019e98" identifier="/us/pl/118/199/s2" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading>TRUST LAND FOR THE JAMUL INDIAN VILLAGE OF CALIFORNIA.</heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y81266b42-e80e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/118/199/s2/a" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">In General</inline>.—</heading><content>The approximately 172.10 acres of land described in subsection (b) is held in trust by the United States for the benefit of the Jamul Indian Village of California.</content></subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y81266b43-e80e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/118/199/s2/b" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">(b) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Land Descriptions</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>The land referred to in subsection (a) is the following:</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y81266b44-e80e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/118/199/s2/b/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Parcel 1</inline>.—</heading><content>The parcels of land totaling approximately 161.23 acres, located in San Diego County, California, that are held in fee by the Jamul Indian Village of California, as legally described in Document No. 2022–0010260 in the Official Records of the Office of the Recorder, San Diego County, California, and recorded January 7, 2022.</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y81266b45-e80e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/118/199/s2/b/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Parcel 2</inline>.—</heading><content>The parcel of land totaling approximately 6 acres, located in San Diego County, California, that is held in fee by the Jamul Indian Village of California, as legally described in Document No. 2021–0540770 in the Official Records of the Office of the Recorder, San Diego County, California, and recorded July 29, 2021.</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y81266b46-e80e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/118/199/s2/b/3" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="3">(3) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Parcel 3</inline>.—</heading><content>The parcel of land totaling approximately 4.03 acres, located in San Diego County, California, as legally described in Document No. 1998–0020339 in the Official Records of the Office of the Recorder, San Diego County, California, and recorded January 15, 1998.</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y81266b47-e80e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/118/199/s2/b/4" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="4">(4) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Parcel 4</inline>.—</heading><content>The parcel of land comprised of approximately 0.84 acres, located in San Diego County, California, as legally described in Document No. 2017–0410384 in the Official Records of the Office of the Recorder, San Diego County, California, and recorded September 7, 2017.</content></paragraph>
</subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y81266b48-e80e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/118/199/s2/c" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="c">(c) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Additional Trust Acquisition</inline>.—</heading><content>The Secretary of the Interior shall accept title in and to, and place into trust by the United States for the benefit of the Jamul Indian Village of California, the land depicted as “Proposed 1.1. acres” on the map of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife entitled “Amended Acres Proposal” and dated May 2023 if that land is conveyed <page identifier="/us/stat/138/2685">138 STAT. 2685</page>
or otherwise transferred to the United States by, or on behalf of, the Jamul Indian Village of California.</content></subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y81266b49-e80e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/118/199/s2/d" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="d">(d) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Administration</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>Land taken into trust under subsections (a) and (c) shall be—</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y81266b4a-e80e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/118/199/s2/d/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><content>part of the reservation of the Jamul Indian Village of California; and</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y81266b4b-e80e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/118/199/s2/d/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><content>administered in accordance with the laws and regulations generally applicable to property held in trust by the United States for the benefit of an Indian Tribe.</content></paragraph>
</subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y81266b4c-e80e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/118/199/s2/e" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="e">(e) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Gaming Prohibited</inline>.—</heading><content>Land described in subsections (b) and (c) shall not be used for any class II gaming or class III gaming under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act (<ref href="/us/usc/t25/s2701/etseq">25 U.S.C. 2701 et seq.</ref>) (as those terms are defined in section 4 of that Act (<ref href="/us/usc/t25/s2703">25 U.S.C. 2703</ref>)).</content></subsection>
