<section id="d37163e88" identifier="/us/pl/118/197/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x8ffd1842-e80e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180"><ref href="/us/usc/t36/s101">36 USC 101 note</ref>.</p></sidenote><heading>SHORT TITLE.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle role="act">Never Again Education Reauthorization Act of 2023</shortTitle>”.</content></section>
<section id="d37163e103" identifier="/us/pl/118/197/s2" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x8ffd1843-e80e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180">Time periods.</p><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x8ffd1844-e80e-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180"><ref href="/us/usc/t36/s2301">36 USC 2301 note</ref>.</p></sidenote><heading>REAUTHORIZATION.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  Section 4(a) of the Never Again Education Act (<ref href="/us/pl/116/141">Public Law 116–141</ref>; <ref href="/us/stat/134/638">134 Stat. 638</ref>) <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction> by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>each of the 4 succeeding fiscal years</quotedText>” and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>each succeeding fiscal year through fiscal year 2030</quotedText>”.</content></section>
