<enactingFormula style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><i>  Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa­tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,</i></enactingFormula>
<section id="d48979e85" identifier="/us/pl/118/154/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>NATIONAL MEDAL OF HONOR HIGHWAY.</heading><subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="yfe4cbaae-e80f-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/118/154/s1/a" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="a">(a) </num><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Purpose</inline>.—</heading><chapeau>The purposes of this Act are—</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="yfe4cbaaf-e80f-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/118/154/s1/a/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><content>to honor all current and future Medal of Honor recipients; and</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="yfe4cbab0-e80f-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/118/154/s1/a/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><content>to recognize the valor and service of those Medal of Honor recipients.</content></paragraph>

<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="yfe4cbab1-e80f-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/118/154/s1/b" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">(b) </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="xfe4cbab2-e80f-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180"><ref href="/us/usc/t49/s31112">49 USC 31112 note</ref>.</p></sidenote><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">Designation</inline>.—</heading><content>United States Route 20 in each of the States of Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New York, and Massachusetts shall be known and designated as the “National Medal of Honor Highway”.</content></subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="yfe4cbab3-e80f-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/118/154/s1/c" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="c">(c) </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="xfe4cbab4-e80f-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180"><ref href="/us/usc/t49/s31112">49 USC 31112 note</ref>.</p></sidenote><heading class="fontsize10"><inline class="smallCaps">References</inline>.—</heading><content>Any reference in a law, map, regulation, document, paper, or other record of the United States to the highway referred to in subsection (b) shall be deemed to be a reference to the “National Medal of Honor Highway”.</content></subsection>
