<section id="d49088e88" identifier="/us/pl/118/152/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x0d04e32a-e810-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180"><ref href="/us/usc/t33/s1251">33 USC 1251 note</ref>.</p></sidenote><heading>SHORT TITLE.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle role="act">Pensacola and Perdido Bays Estuary of National Significance Act of 2024</shortTitle>”.</content></section>
<section id="d49088e103" identifier="/us/pl/118/152/s2" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x0d04e32b-e810-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180">Florida.</p></sidenote><heading>PENSACOLA AND PERDIDO BAYS.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  Section 320(a)(2)(B) of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act (<ref href="/us/usc/t33/s1330/a/2/B">33 U.S.C. 1330(a)(2)(B)</ref>) <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction> by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>and Lower Columbia River, Oregon and Washington</quotedText>” and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>Lower Columbia River, Oregon and Washington; and Pensacola and Perdido Bays, Florida</quotedText>”.</content></section>
<section id="d49088e125" identifier="/us/pl/118/152/s3" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="3">SEC. 3. </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x0d04e32c-e810-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180">Time periods.</p></sidenote><heading>INELIGIBILITY WITH RESPECT TO FISCAL YEARS 2024 AND 2025.</heading><chapeau class="indentUp0 firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="x0d050a3d-e810-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  With respect to the amendment made by section 2, the Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency may not use for the implementation of that amendment, including, with respect to Pensacola and Perdido Bays, Florida, convening a management conference, developing or carrying out a comprehensive conservation and management plan, or providing grants under section 320 of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act (<ref href="/us/usc/t33/s1330">33 U.S.C. 1330</ref>)—</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y0d050a3e-e810-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/118/152/s3/1" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><content>any amounts appropriated to carry out the national estuary program under that section for fiscal year 2024; or<page identifier="/us/stat/138/1687">138 STAT. 1687</page></content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y0d050a3f-e810-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/118/152/s3/2" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><content>unless the total amount appropriated to carry out that program for fiscal year 2025 is at least $850,000 more than the total amount appropriated to carry out that program for fiscal year 2023, any amounts appropriated to carry out that program for fiscal year 2025.</content></paragraph>
