<section id="d68477e94" identifier="/us/pl/117/42/s1" style="-uslm-lc:I658146"><num class="bold" value="1">SECTION 1. </num><heading>SHORT TITLE.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  This Act may be cited as the “<shortTitle role="act">Department of Veterans Affairs Expiring Authorities Act of 2021</shortTitle>”.</content></section>
<section id="d68477e104" identifier="/us/pl/117/42/s2" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="2">SEC. 2. </num><heading>EXTENSION OF AUTHORITY FOR DENTAL INSURANCE PLAN FOR VETERANS AND SURVIVORS AND DEPENDENTS OF VETERANS.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  <ref href="/us/usc/t38/s1712C">Section 1712C of title 38, United States Code</ref>, <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction> by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> subsection (j).</content></section>
<section id="d68477e120" identifier="/us/pl/117/42/s3" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="3">SEC. 3. </num><heading>EXTENSION OF TEMPORARY EXPANSION OF PAYMENTS AND ALLOWANCES FOR BENEFICIARY TRAVEL IN CONNECTION WITH VETERANS RECEIVING CARE FROM VET CENTERS.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  Section 104(a) of the Honoring America’s Veterans and Caring for Camp Lejeune Families Act of 2012 (<ref href="/us/pl/112/154">Public Law 112–154</ref>; <ref href="/us/stat/126/1169">126 Stat. 1169</ref>), as most recently amended by section 5109 of the Continuing Appropriations Act, 2021 and Other Extensions Act (<ref href="/us/pl/116/159">Public Law 116–159</ref>; <ref href="/us/stat/134/749">134 Stat. 749</ref>), is further amended by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>September 30, 2021</quotedText>” and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>September 30, 2022</quotedText>”.</content></section>
<section id="d68477e147" identifier="/us/pl/117/42/s4" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="4">SEC. 4. </num><heading>EXTENSION OF AUTHORITY FOR PILOT PROGRAM ON ACCEPTANCE BY THE DEPARTMENT OF VETERANS AFFAIRS OF DONATED FACILITIES AND RELATED IMPROVEMENTS.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  Section 2(i) of the Communities Helping Invest through Property and Improvements Needed for Veterans Act of 2016 (<ref href="/us/pl/114/294">Public Law 114–294</ref>; <ref href="/us/usc/t38/s8103">38 U.S.C. 8103 note</ref>) <amendingAction type="amend">is amended</amendingAction> by <amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> “<quotedText>the date that is 5 years after the date of the enactment of this Act</quotedText>” and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>December 16, 2026</quotedText>”.</content></section>
<section id="d68477e169" identifier="/us/pl/117/42/s5" style="-uslm-lc:I658141"><num class="fontsize12" value="5">SEC. 5. </num><heading>DETERMINATION OF BUDGETARY EFFECTS.</heading><content style="-uslm-lc:I658120">  The budgetary effects of this Act, for the purpose of complying with the Statutory Pay-As-You-Go Act of 2010, shall be determined by reference to the latest statement titled “Budgetary Effects of PAYGO Legislation” for this Act, submitted for printing in the <page identifier="/us/stat/135/343">135 STAT. 343</page>
Congressional Record by the Chairman of the House Budget Committee, provided that such statement has been submitted prior to the vote on passage.</content></section>
