<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y95ec429c-e833-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/115/30/s/1" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">(1) </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x95ec429d-e833-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180"><i>Ante</i>, p. 910.</p></sidenote><content><amendingAction type="delete">striking</amendingAction> the date specified in section 106(3) and <amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> “<quotedText>May 5, 2017</quotedText>”; and</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y95ec429e-e833-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" identifier="/us/pl/115/30/s/2" role="instruction" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">(2) </num><content><amendingAction type="insert">inserting</amendingAction> after section 201 the following new section:<quotedContent><section class="indentDown1 firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y95ec69af-e833-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="202">“<inline class="smallCaps">Sec. 202.</inline></num><subsection class="inline" id="y95ec69b0-e833-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c"><num value="a"> (a) </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x95ec69b1-e833-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180"><ref href="/us/usc/t30/s1201">30 USC 1201 note</ref>.</p></sidenote><content>This section may be cited as the ‘<shortTitle role="section">Further Continued Health Benefits for Miners Act</shortTitle>’.</content></subsection>
<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y95ec69b2-e833-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="b">“(b) </num><chapeau>Section 402(h)(2)(C)(ii) of the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (<ref href="/us/usc/t30/s1232/h/2/C/ii">30 U.S.C. 1232(h)(2)(C)(ii)</ref>) is amended—</chapeau><paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y95ec69b3-e833-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="1">“(1) </num><content>in subclause (II), by striking ‘April 30, 2017’ and inserting ‘May 5, 2017’;</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y95ec69b4-e833-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="2">“(2) </num><content>in subclause (II)(aa), by striking ‘the Continued Health Benefits for Miners Act’ and inserting ‘the Further Continued Health Benefits for Miners Act’; and</content></paragraph>
<paragraph class="fontsize10" id="y95ec69b5-e833-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658122"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="3">“(3) </num><content>by adding at the end the following: ‘For purposes of subclause (II)(aa), a beneficiary enrolled in the Plan as of the date of the enactment of the Further Continued Health Benefits for Miners Act shall be deemed to have been eligible to receive health benefits under the Plan on January 1, 2017.’.</content></paragraph>

<subsection class="firstIndent0 fontsize10" id="y95ec69b6-e833-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658120"><num class="fontsize10" style="-uslm-lc:emspace2" value="c">“(c) </num><sidenote><p class="leftAlign firstIndent0 fontsize8" id="x95ec69b7-e833-11f0-bc57-ad3ac4b1618c" style="-uslm-lc:I658180">Applicability.</p></sidenote><content>The provisions of <ref href="/us/pl/114/223/s167/d">section 167(d) of Public Law 114–223</ref> (as added by <ref href="/us/pl/114/254">Public Law 114–254</ref>) shall apply to this section.”</content></subsection>
