H.R. 2269--A bill to establish the Gulf Coast Civic Works Commission 
    within the Department of Homeland Security Office of Federal 
    Coordinator of Gulf Coast Rebuilding to administer the Gulf Coast 
    Civic Works Project to provide job-training opportunities and 
    increase employment to aid in the recovery of the Gulf Coast 
    region; to the Committee on Education and Labor, and in addition 
    to the Committees on Financial Services, Transportation and 
    Infrastructure, Natural Resources, and Energy and Commerce, for a 
    period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case 
    for consideration of such provisions as fall within the 
    jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
