H.R. 1549--A bill to amend the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act to 
    preserve the effectiveness of medically important antibiotics used 
    in the treatment of human and animal diseases; to the Committee on 
    Energy and Commerce, and in addition to the Committee on Rules, 
    for a period to be subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each 
    case for consideration of such provisions as fall within the 
    jurisdiction of the committee concerned.
