H.R. 1263--A bill to amend title 5, United States Code, to provide for 
    the automatic enrollment of new participants in the Thrift Savings 
    Plan, and to clarify the method for computing certain annuities 
    based on part-time service; to allow certain employees of the 
    District of Columbia to have certain periods of service credited 
    for purposes relating to retirement eligibility; and for other 
    purposes; to the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, and 
    in addition to the Committee on Ways and Means, for a period to be 
    subsequently determined by the Speaker, in each case for 
    consideration of such provisions as fall within the jurisdiction 
    of the committee concerned.
