H. Con. Res. 143--Concurrent resolution expressing support for the 
    designation and goals of ``Hire a Veteran Week'' and encouraging 
    the President to issue a proclamation supporting those goals; to 
    the Committee on Veterans' Affairs, and in addition to the 
    Committee on Armed Services, for a period to be subsequently 
    determined by the Speaker, in each case for consideration of such 
    provisions as fall within the jurisdiction of the committee 
    concerned.
