S. 2294--A bill to require the registration of deposit brokers with 
    the Securities and Exchange Commission, to require the Federal 
    depository institution insuring agencies to better police the 
    funds acquisition activities of newly insured and financially 
    impaired depository institutions, to amend the Securities Exchange 
    Act of 1934, the Federal Deposit Insurance Act, the National 
    Housing Act, and for other purposes; to the Committee on Banking, 
    Housing, and Urban Affairs.
