H.R. 947--A bill to amend the National Traffic and Motor Vehicle 
    Safety Act of 1966 to require manufacturers of new passenger cars 
    to install high-mounted rear stop lamps in such passenger cars to 
    reduce rear-end collisions by providing a more effective brake 
    warning to following drivers; to the Committee on Energy and 
    Commerce.
