H. Con. Res. 279--Concurrent resolution directing the Commissioner of 
    Social Security and the Secretary of Health and Human Services to 
    immediately conduct a study and report to Congress on steps which 
    can be taken to correct the benefit disparity known as the notch 
    problem and to finance such a correction, in order to insure 
    equitable and fair treatment for those who have based their 
    retirement plans on benefit levels which have existed for the past 
    decade; to the Committee on Ways and Means.
