The following subjects are planned; FOREST FIRES FIRST AID FOOD CONSERVATION CHILD WELFARE NUTRITION AND DIETETICS PHYSICAL TRAINING HEALTH AND HYGIENE CIVILIAN MORALE NURSING AND RED CROSS WORK AMERICANISM Already issued AIR RAID PRECAUTIONS FILMS FOREWORD The films described herein include both fire prevention and fire-fighting films.* The majority of these are of recent origin (1937-1941). The selection was compiled from listings in authoritative education and fire protection sources and from the catalogs of producers and distributors of visual education films. A complete list of sources consulted is given at the end of each film listing. Arrangement of the films is alphabetical. The brief evaluat ive comments given at the beginning of each listing, whenever such information was available, are based on a consensus of authoritative opinion. The fuller critical comments which follow are quoted verbatim from original reference sources. None of the films was viewed by the editors. It is regrettable that several films produced by various city fire departments for local distribution had to be omitted for lack of information. As full alist of distributors as it was possible to obtain is given for each film. Addresses of local and state depositories will be found on pages ix-x. prices quoted are per day and subject to change. »Films on the hazards of Incendiary bombs will be found In an earlier booklet entitled "Air Raid Precautions Films." Forest fire films will be treated in a forth-com1 ng book Iet.
