Impoundments: Comments on Proposed Rescissions of Department of Education
Budget Authority (Letter Report, 04/07/95, GAO/OGC-95-18).

On February 22, 1995, the President submitted to Congress his fourth
special impoundment message for fiscal year 1995.  The message reports
one revised deferral and two revised rescission proposals, all affecting
the Department of Education.  GAO reviewed the rescissions and found
them to be in accordance with the Impoundment Control Act.
