SUMMARY: The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) has granted a
request by International Isotopes Inc., on behalf of International
Isotopes Fluorine Products and Green Salt Products, LLC, to withdraw
its request for NRC consent to the direct transfer of control of source
material license number 1011 (SUB-1011). The application concerned a
proposed depleted uranium deconversion and fluorine processing venture
for a site near Hobbs/Lea County, New Mexico.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION: The NRC has granted a request by
International Isotopes Inc., on behalf of International Isotopes
Fluorine Products and Green Salt Products, LLC, to withdraw its request
for NRC consent for the direct transfer of control of SUB-1011 dated
October 1, 2025. The application concerned a proposed depleted uranium
deconversion and fluorine processing venture for a site near Hobbs/Lea
County, New Mexico. On February 6, 2026, the NRC published in the
Federal Register a notice of receipt, opportunity to comment, request a
hearing, and petition for leave to intervene (91 FR 5518) for the
request for NRC consent to the direct transfer of control of source
material license number SUB-1011. The application and the letter
requesting its withdrawal, dated March 11, 2026, are available in ADAMS
under Accession Nos. ML25273A381 and ML26071A277, respectively. The NRC
letter of acknowledgment of withdrawal is available in ADAMS under
Accession No. ML26072A234.
