Specification (TS) 3.7.6, ``Main Control Room Emergency Habitability
System (VES),'' Action, Condition F to allow a one-time allowance to

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

I. Discussion

The NRC has granted SNC's request dated May 20, 2025 (ADAMS
Accession No. ML25140A974), to withdraw its application dated May 1,
2025 (ADAMS Accession No. ML25121A336), for a proposed amendment to
Combined License NPF-92 for Vogtle, Unit 4, located in Burke County,
GA.
The proposed license amendment would have added a Note to Vogtle,
Unit 4, TS 3.7.6, ``Main Control Room Emergency Habitability System
(VES),'' Action, Condition F to allow a one-time allowance to provide
time to repair VES bottled air system valve leakage. The Note would
have extended the initiation of Required Actions F.1 and F.2 Completion
Times from discovery of Condition F entry when Condition F entry is a
result of VES air system leakage repairs. The one-time allowance would
have expired upon entry into MODE 4 on startup from the first refueling
outage of Vogtle, Unit 4.
The proposed amendment was noticed in the Federal Register on May
15, 2025.

    Dated: June 02, 2025.

    For the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
Zachary Turner,
Project Manager, Plant Licensing Branch II-1, Division of Operating
Reactor Licensing, Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation.
